In 2007 a deal was struck and Pebble Hotels was born, three hotels bought by three friends. Coincidentally they were all named after birds (the hotels not the friends). One of them was sold quite early on and then there were two.
The reason these particular hotels were chosen was not all about business. In fact the hotels held a special place in the owners hearts. One of the owners (Ted) had his first ever ‘proper job interview’ at The Potters Heron, and as a team they had owned both of the hotels in a previous adventure, so right at the core of the business there is a genuine affection for both hotels and the communities they serve.
